Jewish FilmFest Kicks off March 23!

The Jewish Federation of Eastern Connecticut (JFEC) is pleased to present our 31st Annual International Jewish FilmFest. We are exceedingly proud to present a premier lineup of outstanding dramatic and documentary feature-length films showcasing some of the world’s leading Jewish-content cinema.

The films embrace the full spectrum of Jewish identity, highlighting the Jewish experience in areas as diverse as the Wild West of the 1850’s, the Warsaw Ghetto in the 1940’s, Algiers in the 1950’s, and Jerusalem and New York City in the 2020’s. The films have been selected to entertain, excite, enlighten, and provoke thought.

The FilmFest will run from Sunday, March 23 through Sunday, May 18. Films will be screened at Beth Jacob Synagogue in Norwich, Temple Emanu-El in Waterford, and the United Theatre in Westerly. Click here to purchase tickets.

We extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all our Sponsors, FilmFest Committee volunteers, the JFEC Board of Directors, and the entire JFEC staff. Most importantly, we thank the audiences who have attended our films year after year. Our Festival would not be possible without your continued support.
