The Jewish Federation of Eastern Connecticut (JFEC) is proud to present eastern Connecticut's 29th annual Jewish FilmFest of Eastern CT, which will run from Thursday, April 13 through Sunday, June 18, 2023. The Jewish FilmFest is overjoyed to present this year’s FilmFest VIRTUALLY. All movie links will be available to view from Thursdays at 12:01 am through Sundays at 11:59 pm.
While the Jewish FilmFest was pleased to have brought the films to you in the comfort of your homes for 2021-22 due to the pandemic, this year, the FilmFest will be charging a nominal fee so that the FilmFest can continue to provide the community the best and most current films available.
Individual ticket sales are $12 or buy all 8 online films for $54. Tickets must be purchased by 3 pm on Friday to receive the link to watch the film.
HALLELUJAH: LEONARD COHEN, A JOURNEY, A SONG is the only IN-PERSON movie. Tickets can be purchased through United Theatre or at the door on the night of the show, Wednesday, May 10.
Celebrating 29 years of Jewish history, culture, and identity, the Jewish FilmFest of Eastern CT features award-winning, international dramas and documentaries, including highly acclaimed Israeli films. The FilmFest unites the community through new perspectives on Israeli and other international films, Jews around the globe, the Holocaust and current social justice issues.
The Jewish FilmFest of Eastern CT seeks to enrich the moviegoer experience by presenting special guest speakers after select screenings. A variety of filmmakers, producers, and actors, engaged with us this year for post-Q&A session, at no additional cost. Dates and times to come.
The Jewish FilmFest of Eastern CT committee wishes to send a heartfelt “Todah Rabah” to the members of our community who continue to annually support the FilmFest. Your support enables us to bring exceptional films that explore life experiences as well as dynamic speakers who engage our audience.
Ticket revenue accounts for a portion of the FilmFest’s budget. We rely on our sponsors to bridge the difference and help us create an outstanding Festival for all!
