This year's musicians are the Rebecca Mac String Klezmer Band. Led by Boston-based Rebecca Mac (of the award-winning klezmer ensemble Mamaliga), the Rebecca Mac String Band, one of the most exciting new klezmer groups on the scene today, plays intricate and off-beat arrangements of original fiddle tunes, drawing inspiration from the traditional soundscapes of Klezmer and Eastern-European folk music. The band consists of a violin, cello, bass, and accordion.
